Florentine Slices

What you need
- 75g/3oz Odlums Porridge Oatflakes
- 2 x 150g Chocolate Covering (Milk/Dark as preferred)
- 75g/3oz Margarine
- 125g/4oz Caster Sugar
- 1 Egg (beaten)
- 25g/1oz Walnuts (chopped)
- 75g/3oz Cherries (chopped)
- 75g/3oz Sultanas

Recipe Steps
- Melt the chocolate and spread on a lined swiss roll tin.
- Leave it to cool.
- Beat margarine and sugar until creamy, add the beaten egg.
- Mix in the oatmeal, walnuts, cherries and sultanas.
- Spread evenly over the chocolate and bake in a pre-heated oven at
- 150°C/300°F/Gas 2 for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool and then cut into slices.
