What you need:

  • 200g Kelkin peanut butter
  • 100g light brown soft sugar
  • 300g Odlums Cream Plain Superflour
  • 1tsp of Odlums Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk

 

For the topping

  • 3 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

How to:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. 
  2. In a bowl add the peanut butter and brown sugar and beat with electric beater until smooth and the sugar dissolves. 
  3. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until it resembles breadcrumbs. Next add the milk the mixture combines into a ball. Knead on the surface until smooth and then break off small portions and roll into balls- about 40g a portion. 
  4. In a bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon together and dust the outside of the dough balls. 
  5. Place them onto a tray with parchment paper and then squash them down into biscuit shapes. 
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. 
  7. They should be golden but also still a soft biscuit as they are traditionally. Enjoy with a cup of tea for something different.
