What you need:

  • 125g/4 oz Odlums Cream Plain Flour
  • 125g/4 oz Butter, softened
  • 125g/4 oz Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 25g/1 oz Rice Krispies

Honey & Mustard Dipping Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Cider Vinegar

 

How to:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6.
  2. Place the flour, butter and cheese into a large mixing bowl. Using tips of fingers rub ingredients together to form a dough. Then mix in the Rice Krispies.
  3. Shape dough into 1" balls and put in the fridge to set for at least an hour.
  4. Take out of the fridge and place a few inches apart on ungreased baking trays.
  5. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to set for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire tray to cool.
  6. Make the sauce by combining ingredients in a saucepan over a low heat. Bring to the boil and cook for 1 minute, then allow to cool before serving as a dipping sauce.

Note

  • Also delicious served with soup or some relish
