Ingredients:

225g / 8oz Tritamyl Gluten Free White Bread Mix
50g / 2oz Margarine (room temperature)
50g / 2oz Grated Cheddar Cheese
150ml / 1/4pt Milk

Method:

  1. Put the bread mix into a mixing bowl add the margarine and cheese and rub through until mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add milk and mix to a soft dough.
  2. Turn onto a Tritamyl floured board and lightly knead. Press out to about 1/2″ thickness. Use a 5cms/2″ cutter cut six scones, place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 200°C/400°F/Gas 6 for about 15 minutes until risen and golden brown.
