Recipe Steps
- Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Lightly grease a 450g/1lb loaf tin and dust base and sides with porridge oats.
- Put brown bread mix into a bowl. Add the pinhead oats, pumpkin seeds and linseed and mix well.
- Warm the treacle and milk together and combine with a fork.
- Add to the dry ingredients and mix to a soft (not sloppy!) dough.
- Transfer to the prepared tin and bake for about 45 minutes, or until risen and has a hollow sound when tapped underneath. Wrap in a clean tea towel until cold.

Serve with cheese, smoked salmon or soup
