Gluten Free Cheese Scones

What you need

  • 225g / 8 oz Odlums Gluten Free White Bread Mix
  • 50g / 2 oz Butter (room temperature)
  • 50g / 2 oz Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 150ml / 1/4pt Milk

Recipe Steps

  1. Put the bread mix into a mixing bowl add the butter and cheese and rub through until mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add milk and mix to a soft dough.
  2. Turn onto a gluten free floured board and lightly knead. Press out to about ½” thickness. Use a 5cms/2″ cutter cut six scones, place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 200�C/400�F/Gas 6 for about 15 minutes until risen and golden brown.
