Recipe Steps
- Weigh all the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix them all up with a good wooden spoon.
- Add the buttermilk and mix well until all combined.
- Take the bread out onto the surface with a little dusting of flour and bring it all together until you form a nice smooth shape.
- Cut a cross over the top and then brush with some of the excess buttermilk.
- Bake on a greased tray at 180C for 30-35mins.
