Chewy Granola Bars

Cook Time: 15 - 20 Minutes

What you need

  • 125g/4 oz Odlums Porridge Oats
  • 75g/3 oz Shamrock Cranberry, Raisin & Sultana Mix
  • 25g/1 oz Shamrock Flaked Almonds
  • 50g/2 oz Shamrock Light Muscovado Sugar
  • 25g/1 oz Hazelnuts, chopped
  • 25g/1 oz Sesame Seeds
  • 4 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Honey

Recipe Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas 3. Grease and base line a 20cm/8″ square tin.
  2. Put all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add the oil and the honey and stir until thoroughly blended.
  4. Transfer to the prepared tin. Press down well with the back of a spoon dipped in water.
  5. Bake for about 15-20 minutes depending on how crunchy you like them.
  6. Allow to set in tin, cutting into bars when still warm.
  7. When fully cooled, store in an airtight container.
