Cook Time: 8 Minutes

What you need

For the Pizza dough

  • 500g Odlums Strong Flour
  • 325ml Lukewarm Water
  • 2 Pinches of Sugar
  • 2 Pinches of Salt
  • 1 7g Sachet of Yeast

Tomato sauce

  • 1 tin of Roma Chopped Tomatoes in Basil
  • 1tbsp of Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1tbsp of Sugar
  • 1tsp of Roma Tomato Puree

To Top

  • Fresh Basil
  • Buffalo Mozzarella

Recipe Steps

  1. For the pizza dough mix all the ingredients in a large bowl with a fork until nicely combined.
  2. Tip out onto the surface and knead with floured hands nicely for 5-10mins until soft and silky.
  3. Place back into the mixing bowl and cover for 30mins to an hour.
  4. Once proved knock back the dough by punching all the air out and divide into 4 equal sizes. You can clingfilm the extra dough if not using and freeze for again.
  5. For the Tomato sauce – mix the chopped tomatoes, vinegar, sugar and salt and simmer in a saucepan for 5-10mins.
  6. Heat an oven-proof frying pan on the hob medium heat.
  7. Stretch or roll out the dough until it’s around the same size as your large frying pan. Place the base on and warm the base for 1 to 2 minutes.
  8. Spread the tomato sauce all over the pizza base.
  9. Now place on the mozzarella and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 200oC for 8 mins until nicely golden and crispy. Serve sliced on a board (with baby basil leaves over top to garnish) Enjoy!
