Gluten Free Crumpets

What you need

  • 125g/4oz Odlums Gluten Free White Bread Mix
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Shamrock Golden Caster Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 150ml/¼ pint Milk
  • Oil for frying

Recipe Steps

  1. Sieve the bread mix, salt and sugar into a bowl.
  2. Add the egg, beat while gradually adding the milk. Mixture should be smooth.
  3. Heat a little oil on a pan.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto pan. When mixture is puffed and bubbling on top, turn and cook on other side.
  5. Serve either hot or cold.
