Cook Time: 60-70 minutes
What you need
- 250g Odlums plain flour
- 225 g butter, softened
- 100 g caster sugar
- 100 g light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 bananas
- 250 g Poppets Poppeggs (plus extra for decoration)
- Chocolate chips (¼ cup)
- 100 g Dairy Milk chocolate bar (chopped, reserve ¼ for drizzle)

Recipe Steps
- Preheat oven to 160°C.
- Add softened butter, caster sugar and brown sugar to a mixing bowl. Mix with a spatula or whisk.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add salt, baking powder and flour. Mix until combined.
- Add bananas and mix.
- Add Poppeggs, chocolate chips and chopped chocolate (keeping ¼ of Poppeggs & chopped chocolate for topping). Mix gently.
- Pour mixture into a lined loaf tin.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a knife comes out almost clean.
- Top with extra Poppeggs.
- Cool for 10 mins.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate once set.
