What you need
- 225g/8oz Odlums Coarse Wholemeal Flour
- 1 tablespoon Shamrock Light Muscovado Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 150ml/¼ pint Natural Yoghurt
- 3-5 tablespoons Rowse Honey
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 1 level teaspoon Bread Soda
- 1 level teaspoon Goodall’s Cinnamon
- 100g packet Shamrock Chopped or Flaked Almonds (optional)

Recipe Steps
- Preheat oven to 150°C/300°F/Gas 2. Grease and line 450g/1lb loaf tin.
- Beat together the sugar, egg, yoghurt, honey and oil.
- Add wheatmeal, bread soda, cinnamon and half the nuts to the liquid ingredients.
- Beat well until all ingredients are blended.
- Transfer to the prepared tin. Level off top with back of spoon. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
- Bake for about 45 mins until springy to the touch.
- Cool in the tin. When cold, wrap in greaseproof paper and tinfoil.
