Cranberry & Nut Bread

What you need

  • 1 packet Odlums Multigrain Bread Mix
  • 125g/4oz Cranberries
  • 100g packet Shamrock Chopped Almonds
  • Rind of 1 Orange
  • 350ml/12 fl oz Orange Juice

Recipe Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Grease a 900g/2lb loaf tin.
  2. Place the contents of packet into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the cranberries, chopped almonds, orange rind and juice. Mix well, then, transfer to the prepared tin.
  4. Smooth top and put a cut down the centre.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes until well risen and brown on top. Bread is baked when the base is tapped and it has a hollow sound!
