Pizza Base

Cook Time: 12 Minutes

What you need

  • 200g Odlums “00” Pizza Flour
  • 2g Fast Acting Yeast
  • 4g Salt
  • 120ml Water

Recipe Steps

  1. In a large bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt, and water and mix to form a dough
  2. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 12 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic
  3. Return to the bowl and cover loosely with a tea towel. Leave in a warm enough place to prove until doubled in size. This should take 90 minutes to 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200C/Fan 180c/Gas Mark 6
  5. When the dough is ready, dust a board with flour and roll out to a round
  6. Place pizza on a baking tray, spread on some tomato sauce, and add your choice of toppings.
  7. Bake for approx. 12 Minutes
  8. Slice & Enjoy
