Wholemeal Muffins

What you need

  • 275g/10 oz Odlums Coarse Wholemeal Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Odlums Baking Powder
  • 50g/2oz Shamrock Demerara Sugar
  • 75g/3oz Shamrock Sultanas
  • 125g/4oz Butter or Margarine (melted)
  • 250ml/9 fl oz Milk
  • 1 Egg, lightly beaten

Recipe Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Line a 6 muffin tin with muffin cases.
  2. Mix the lightly beaten egg and milk together.
  3. Combine the other ingredients together and add the liquid mixture.
  4. Mix with a fork until just combined.
  5. Fill the six muffin cases and bake for 15-20 minutes.
