Recipe Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Peel the apples, then quarter them and remove the core. Cut them into 2-3cm chunks.
- Place them into a saucepan over a medium heat with the lemon juice, sugar and cook for 5minutes until slightly softened.
- Meanwhile, rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Tip the apple mixture into a nice baking tin and then top with the crumble.
- Bake for 25-30minutes until golden and serve with some whipped cream or custard or both. Enjoy.
